Blue Mountain is the most popular place to ski/snowboard in Ontario during the winter. During the summer, they have hiking and other summer activities.

So much do to and see here! Enjoy pebble beaches of Georgian Bay, visit Scenic Caves, or Blue Mountain village itself with many shops and restaurants. It’s often referred to as mini Whistler! Many trails in the area for hiking, biking and skinning as well as downhill skiing on the hills in season. Blue Mountain is approx 45 min to an hour and is a lovely drive from the Schoolhouse.

Blue Mountain is a great place to visit, since you are 2 mins away from the 400 Highway, it's only an hour drive to get to the mountains to either snowboard/ski or dirt bike based on the season. There is a nice wood oven pizza restaurant just outside the village. This is the Whistler of Ontario.

Family and group amusement park- All Season In the summer there lots of live shows and fireworks to enjoy. There are many stores and restaurants to enjoy. There is also an adult like mini putt and a mountain ridge runner($$) at the base of the hill that are fun. Favourite restaurants are North Winds located with seating over looking Mills pond, serving pub food and more. Firehall pizza co that serves awesome pizzas and much more. Rustys is another good one with many choices of food and beers. In the winter there is skiing and snowboarding and campfires in areas to warm up also there is a Starbucks close to the hill. The plunge (water play land) is open all year and is great fun located at the base of the mountain.
