This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. Distinctive and unique one space apartment on three levels, located in the lively heart of the historical center of Florence, few steps from the main square of the city (Santa Croce, Dome, Piazza Signoria) in an old quarter where you can still feel the life of the town, visiting handcraft's shops. The kitchen offers all the facilities to cook dishes of all kinds. The owner provides free tea and coffee. The apartment is equipped with a double bed (2 persons) and a bed placed on a non-habitable mezanine (1 person). The finishes of the apartment were made from natural materials and chemically untreated. The district offers many possibilities to eat something of the typical Tuscan cooking, and wineries where you can taste the best Italian and foreign wines. The owner will be happy to give any indication about that. The distance from the railway station of Santa Maria Novella is about 1 km away and it is served by bus, if you do not want to opt for a pleasant walk of about 20 minutes through the historical center.

Costruito nel 1450, questo Loft rappresenta l'unione tra moderno a antico. Il palazzo é l'antica residenza della famiglia della Gioconda. La stanza principale, con un soffitto molto alto e un pianoforte è il fulcro dell'abitazione. L'appartamento é molto accogliente e decorato.
