Take the mountain e-bikes for a tour around the surrounding countryside, jump into one of the waterholes on the property. Chalet style accommodation. This self contained holiday house is set up the same as a motel with all linen provided. All day sun. 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a King bed and the other with two singles. Downstairs is the third bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunks. Full sea view. Outdoor bath (bath with hot water) in garden. 800m from SH1. 1700m from Moeraki Boulders in one direction. 1700m from Moeraki Tavern and Village in other direction.

Shag Point Retreat offers private gardens, a unique base for exploring and also a quiet respite “off the beaten track”. Close by a wide sweeping sandy bay. Or head to the Conservation reserve, a 10 minute walk - coastal views, seals and bird life abounds.

Lovely Historic School, Karitane

Our unique stand alone studio is a small, historic, renovated school about 30km north of Dunedin and close to the village of Karitane. The school has everything you need for a warm, comfortable stay. There books and games for your use. We live in a repurposed sheep shearing shed nearby and both buildings are surrounded by extensive gardens and plantings. There are panoramic views of the very picturesque coast line and out to sea. It is very peaceful and private.

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

(SINGLE NIGHTS CONDITIONAL- You must bring your own linen or pay an additional $30.00) (We may not accept small bookings more than a week or 2 in advance particularly during peak periods) The open plan Studio Unit is in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Moeraki with a great view of the harbour and the hills beyond. Internet not high speed. There are no shops in Moeraki...nearest superette in Hampden 5km to the north. We don't supply milk.

We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.
