Stylish decor and a charming place to stay. Annex to a thatched cottage in a beautiful village with own its front door and parking. Spacious and comfortable bedroom, king size bed, extra seating, fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Good wifi and smart TV. spacious ensuite shower room. Underfloor heating throughout. Local pub is very welcoming and serves lovely food. station 5 mins, market town of saffron walden 10 mins, Stansted airport 15 mins and Cambridge 30 mins drive. we have 2 dogs.

Our new Garden rooms are light and calming, backing onto fields.Deer, pheasants and barn owl’s can be seen most days.There is a patio at front and at the back where enjoy the view and also a BBQ available to cook your own food. We also have a Scandinavian BBQ HUT where our guests are welcome to spend a private evening of a cost of £20..There is lots of wildlife to be seen here and deer in our woods. Shops are 10 min away but a nice pub/restaurant 4 minutes by car. The trundle bed is 6ft !

Being located in a rural/countryside location, there are lovely walks and cycling routes enabling guests to enjoy the surrounding villages and local area. We would love to welcome you to our quiet little spot in Suffolk and hope you would like to come and enjoy some time here with us. Over the pandemic many changes have taken place and through various circumstances we are now looking to hire out our beautiful barn and bedroom buildings as a self contained unit rather than bed and breakfast accommodation. This does mean that the current set up is a little unique but we hope we can provide guests with a spot to get away and enjoy.

The Dovecote is a luxuriously renovated and unique hide-away for a romantic country escape just an hour from London.
