This custom cabin sits on 4.5 wooded acres in a designated dark sky area. The cabin is completely enclosed with a fence for your furry friends. A two-person hot tub is provided on a covered front porch.

This is a cozy yet spacious cottage at the dead end of a short unpaved lane. Quiet, private, with lots of wildlife in the woods above the Greenbrier River and trail. You won’t see or hear the neighbors. I stay in the studio apt. behind the garage on the far side of the property. I absolutely respect your privacy. Only 15 minutes from Historic Lewisburg, one of WV's best tourist destinations which offers restaurants, bars, shops, antiques, and the arts. It is 13 miles to The Greenbrier Resort.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Cottage by the Greenbrier

Our one-room cottage with river access sits a few hundred feet above the Greenbrier River, with lots of privacy. Queen bed, pullout couch with double bed, table and chairs, AC. Location is perfect for float trips, biking the Greenbrier River Trail, and hiking --10 minutes from Watoga State Park trails and fishing; 15 minutes from Cranberry Glades; an hour from Lewisburg, WV -- voted coolest town in American a few years ago. Our driveway fronts the river but not the cottage itself.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Geese, heron, and an occasional eagle fly along the river valley.
