Situated directly opposite beautiful Lake Macquarie, this guest house is perfect for a romantic escape or water-lovers getaway. If you’re into scuba diving, fishing, boating, jet skiing or love the beach, this is the place for you. The boat ramp is 200 metres down the road; Caves Beach is a 7 minute drive away; we are within walking distance or a short drive to the shopping village, clubs and pubs. Also, easy access to Blacksmiths Beach, Belmont, Charlestown Square Shopping Centre and Newcastle.

The home enjoys a commanding position on the Lake. Private access to the water is via stairs to a kayak shed and deck at the waters edge (no access to neighbours jetties). Or relax on the rear deck of the house with stunning water views. A perfect getaway for family and friends within reach of cafes, restaurants, beaches and the Hunter Valley Vineyards. Enjoy fishing, kayaking or just unwind. NB: we only accept guests with 5 star reviews (esp House Rules). No 3rd party bookings or work crews.

Mirroring outside, the interior features a white and blue aesthetic accented by wood textures, plant life and nature inspired patterns throughout every space. Unwind and relax on the covered deck with uninterrupted water views over the bay to the mountains watching beautiful sunsets. Located in a quiet beachside location with shops, cafes, restaurants, Caves beachside hotel all within a 3 minute drive.

Absolute waterfront 3 bedroom cute family cottage!

Sleep literally 5 meters from the clear deepwater frontage great for fishing and swimming. Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.) Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls. No fences so please bring extra-long dog leads. Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! (Jetty is not our property.)

2 PEOPLE MAXIMUM NO CHILDREN NO PETS NO COOKING INSIDE The Guesthouse is located on Salts Bay at Swansea Heads. Although it is on our property, it is completely separate to our house, with a private, waterfront entrance. Access is through our front gate, down a sloping path and a flight of stairs. Unfortunately is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Street parking is available. Free use of kayaks. You can swim directly in front of the studio, or from the sandy beach 100m away.

Ducted air conditioning through out, Smart Tv ,WIFI, dishwasher, large deck and BBQ also laundry with washing machine and dryer. Located at the beach and the lake there is plenty to get outside to go explore. PLEASE NOTE This house is the 2nd house(back house) on one block. Its private and has large fences dividing the two. Owner lives in front house. NO PARTYS ALLOWED

Do you need a place to relax and unwind? In a quiet location with a garden outlook? Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. This property is great for short-term working accommodation or a quick overnight stay during a long trip
