My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. I have to warn you definitely not a hook up spot or party house!!! typically rise with rooster on this 5 acre country setting with a small fishing pond. 420 friendly .. Quiet hours are 11 -8 generally some music playing, musicians are welcome !! if you happen to book on a Sunday i host an Open Mic in my Barn every Sunday ..... pretty relaxed. Upon arriving, turn into the driveway, and then right into the yard. Apartment is upstairs, the door is open with the keys inside. ✌️

It is located close to I57, Walmart, Community College, Airport, Fair Grounds, National Guard Training Center, 15 minutes from Olivet, 60 miles south of Chicago. King size bed and twin size sofa sleeper upstairs, full size sleeper sofa in living room. Well equipped full size kitchen and laundry. Large lawn, gardens, and chickens to enjoy.

Find peace and restoration in this beautiful barn loft at Perkins' Good Earth Farm. The loft has a bedroom, separate shower and toilet spaces, work area, sitting room, kitchen space, and heating/cooling fresh air system. Located above our farm store, the loft provides privacy for you while giving you access to fresh fruits & veggies, locally sourced meats, homemade soups & salads from our farm kitchen, and so much more. You can also walk our farm trails, visit the veggies, or enjoy a campfire.

The address to the apartment is 104 E. Washington ST. From Washington St., go thru the black door next to Yanni's restaurant. Go up the stairs and the apartment is on your right. You will see an AirBNB sticker above the door. I will send a code to access the apartment the day of your arrival. Please note, Parking is prohibited on Washington St. from 2AM-4AM. You can park at the Earl Schroffner museum. Their address is 122 N. Dixie Hwy, which is 1 block North of the apartment.
