Visit the Rentenanstalt Park next to the lake. An urban hotspot for many locals. Its free of charge and well visited during hot summer days. You can go swimming and sunbathing or play sports on the green. Take a look, you will be surprised how nice this place is.

If you're looking for a spot to swim in the lake, get off at this station and walk down to the lake. There are several public spots where people lie on the green lawns.
