Plastering the exterior of Porto's 18th-century Carmo church is a blaze of blue and white azulejos (tiles), and the striking façade is one of the most instantly recognized in the city.

Carmo church stands out by its facade full of blue tiles. Also if you take a closer look there's actually another church just next to it (Carmelitas) they're separated by the narrowest house in Porto.
