This is a good intermediate starting trail (for an easy trail, see the entry for Coney Mountain), for those looking to try hiking for the first time. It's rewarding even for those with some experience because it has a beautiful view at the top. Part of the Tupper Lake Triad of trails, with Coney Mountain and Mount Arab. Distance : 1.7 miles one way | 3.2 miles round trip Elevation gain from trailhead to peak : 581 feet (moderate) Mountain elevation : 2,178 feet above sea level Rough estimate round trip time : 3 hours
