We love this trail and so will you! Start by parking in the lot just off of HWY 101. Please take any valuables with you or leave them in the trunk out of sight. You will start by hiking west and will turn north towards the water. You will go over Morse Creek on the old railroad trestle bridge. You will hear the highway for a short while and the reach a very quiet part of the trail as it pulls far away from the road. It is tree lined and canopy covered. In about 1.5 miles you will start hearing the ocean! It will open up and come out on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. If you go west, left, you will be heading towards Downtown Port Angeles Washington. During a low tide you can go down to the beach. Then go east, right, to see where the creek empties out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This is where many fish and wildlife will be active.

This beautiful trail is great for walking and biking. it goes through forest and leads to open air beach access. If you want to really add some mileage, the trail will literally take you into downtown Port Angeles. This trail isnt as well marked as others that are part of the "Discovery Trail" access points. The parking lot is small and basically just a clearing, on the right side of the road. The trail access is on the left side of the road, across the street.
