If you love music, this festival is for you. Musicians big and small gather for this annual event with lots of fun, activities, food and music for all. Great for family and friends to go have fun.

Musikfest is an American music festival that has been held annually in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, since 1984, and it claims to be the nation's largest, non-gated free music festival. The festival begins on the first Friday in August and ends on Sunday ten days later. Local German roots are the foundation of the celebration, and most of the festival's venues use Platz, the German word for place or square, at the ends of their names. A popular place for eating and listening to music, for example, is the large "Festplatz", which includes 300 dining tables, and usually features a polka band each night.

In addition to the MusikFest listed above, Easton has a nationally ranked Bacon Fest in the fall, a Garlic Fest in the fall you have to see to believe (Eat! Drink! Stink!), and a rock music and seafood festival in the late summer called Clam Jam. Throughout the year, they light a Peace Candle in the square during the holidays, read the Declaration of Independence in the summer during Colonial Days (Easton was the 2nd place the original Declaration was read after Philadelphia!), and host a variety of pop-up events and special concerts. Check with us if you want to know more! MusikFest takes place in late summer and features a massive band list of famous national bands, reunion tours, and rising local talent. The majority of festival is free and features multiple stages, great food, and local breweries. In the evenings, superstar groups perform ticketed concerts.
