Salvaged wood, tubs, doors, windows. A strange recommendation at first glance, yes, but if you have a truck or SUV, or a strong will to travel with a big piece, there are many great, hidden pieces of New Orleans architectural history here just waited to be rehabbed and rediscovered. If you're a DIYer, this is an awesome place to go to pick up a piece of New Orleans. About as authentic as it gets.
