Great stop for snacks, local music, and awesome merch (the State of Jefferson also) They host steak dinner nights, community events, and have a great bar with local flavor. Check Facebook for current hours and news.

Great place to stop by and have a drink and sandwich! It's tradition to put your name on a dollar bill and staple it to the wall :)

A great, old-school bar that often has live music, casual atmosphere, a ton of history, and a small but mighty grocery section. It’s absolutely worth the 10 minute scenic drive south on highway 3 to check out historic Callahan.

Old-time historic bar serving beer, wine, and sandwiches. Check their Facebook page for current events. Also a small store. The building was in a movie called Heathens & Thieves. Callahan also has a post office and Grange Hall, but that's about it. Jumping off place for senic drive down river to Forks of the Salmon.
