Lake Harriet is nearby and a 3-mile circumference. If you don’t want to go that far, head clockwise around the lake and you’ll get to the band shell, which is iconic Minneapolis, great views, and lots of seating.

Various events like music or outdoor movies in the summer at the lakefront. There is a food spot and canoe/kayak rental, boat launch, and playground here as well.
