Also on your way here on Granville Road you will find this Historic Site. Melanson Settlement contains archaeological remains of a pre-deportation Acadian community. (c.1664-1755). These archaeological resources reflect the family communities settled by Acadians and their unique dykeland agriculture practiced along the Annapolis River.
