This is a small village where you will find the source of the Sorgue river. The village is beautiful and the walk to the source of the river is great. You can also do some sport like Kayak.

Another great day out, beautiful Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Lovely shops, great for hiking or swimming in the river. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is a village east of Gordes in the Vaucluse department of Provence, best known for being at the source of the river Sorgue. The village originally developed on the site of a Roman settlement, and prior to that, the area had been inhabited since prehistoric times.
