If you want cocktail this is the place to go. Opened a few months ago. It is small and more for 27+ age group. Expensive tho

If you're a bit older and feel like going out for a drink, Pineapple on Parnell is great fun. They have someone playing the piano most nights they are open. It's probably more fun for the older generation though.

Parnell is closeby with restaurants and bars. It tends to draw an older clientele as it is tucked away in a mainly residential area and close by the Auckland Museum. We also like to go there in the daytimes to look at antique and art shops, with the occasional stop to have a coffee, lunch or glass of wine.
