Shah Abbas

Most Persian restaurants are in Westwood (although the great Raffi’s Place is in Glendale). I love this spot for being the go-to Persian restaurant for anyone closer to the east side. It’s a great restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. They also deliver, which is great for when you’re hosting your kabob-loving friends or family. Call ahead and ask about their weekend performances and dance parties. One of my favorite Shah Abbas memories is dancing the night away with my cousin there. And if there’s a DJ, make sure to request some Googoosh. She’s our great pop diva, and her music will get any party started.
