This is a family-run restaurant in a house with only seven tables. They serve seafood-rich side dishes in the style of South Chungcheong Province, where the city of Seosan is located. The soy sauce-marinated crabs, called ganjang gejang in Korean, are delicious. They prioritize the food’s freshness over everything. You don’t choose the kind of makgeolli here—the owner runs and buys random bottles at the store outside the restaurant when you order. Soju goes well with ganjang gejang (soy sauce-marinated raw crab), especially when you mix it half-and-half with makgeolli.
