A majestic road trip. I recommend driving no further than the Athabasca Glacier if you are on a day trip from Golden and visiting as many of the roadside walks on the way as you can. Don't miss Peyto Lake, it's beautiful.

Between Jasper and Banff, this stretch of road has some amazing sites to offer. There are great hiking trails to be had and the views along this highway are breathtaking.
