Night life in Amsterdam concentrates in the area of Leidseplein. If you decide to walk or cycle there along the as it's only 2 km away. I'd recommend the route along the Prinsengracht canal. Alternatively there is a direct tram connection that will take you there.

Leidseplein is a vivid square in Amsterdam, ideal for bars, restaurants and clubs. Check out Melkweg, Paradiso, Jimmy Woo or Chicago Social Club for great parties.
