If you love real ale, the best pub you can visit. Tip: don't ask for lager, ask for pilsner instead. Also great for gin, whisky and pies. Cash only. You can walk here along the mosses in under an hour from the cottage (see guidebook in cottage). Occasional live music.

They brew their own beer! Great selection of real ales. Country pub that looks scruffy from the outside but is incredibly welcoming. You will feel like a local here. Play a boardgame or eat a pasty..

Fantastic range of real ales and ciders (brewed on the premises) - CAMRA pub. Great selection of whisky and home made food , Sunday lunches recommended. Check out the pasties! Music sessions on 2nd and 4th Wed.
