It's a great bargain, the chicken is tasty. The red sauce is too hot for my liking, but ask for extra green sauce. Trust me, you'll need it!

Basically carry-out only, they have a good menu of roasted chicken, and several Salvadorean, Mexican, and Puerto Rican dishes like papusas, tamales, shrimp, beef, etc.

Silvestre is an inexpensive carryout option with tasty rotisserie chicken, quesadillas, fried plantains and yucca.

Amazing Peruvian-style charbroiled chicken, as well as some pretty decent pupusas (Salvadoran stuffed arepas--D.C. has a very prominent community of folks from El Salvador, and pupusas are amazing!).
