My Alma Mater and the old neighborhood where I grew up next to the Mobil Gas Station, which is now part of the Museum Complex for this historic site for school desegregation in 1957.

You can witness, as the rest of the world did in 1957, the documented events of the Little Rock Central High School Desegregation Crisis. Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site marks the place and time in our nations history, where many tuned in to witness the loveless acts of racism as nine African American students integrated, the then all white, Little Rock Central High School. It was the Little Rock Central High School crisis that demonstrated to the world that national laws of the United States of America override state law. Last year, more than 100,000 people from around the world visited the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site.
