Much more than a visitor's center it's THE place to start your trip. Run by the National Parks Service, it's a museum in itself. The exhibits, maps, guides and information are free. Open 9 - 5 daily.

Salem Regional Visitor Center is the perfect place to begin your visit. The free film, Where Past is Present, which is shown multiple times each day, offers an overview of the region's history
