In autumn 2022, Joe a guest of the cottage recommended this cafe in Ludlow with organic food. He said: “ Csons is run by 4 brothers and the food is exceptional. It was easily the best food we tasted all week.”

This is good fresh food, chosen (as you might guess from the name) by what is in season. They do really good vegan / vegetarian food but also a very nice burger. Friendly service. You can just turn up but book if you're depending on going as it is popular. If the weather is good you can eat outside and it is right by the river. Lunchtime not evenings
