Great beach to spend the day on. Get there early for a sun bed. Has two bars on the beach for lunch or just a drink.

If you don't want to go too far afield, this is a good beach to come to. You can catch the 104 or the express bus 106 from Plaza España's underground bus terminal. (This is where the long distance red and yellow buses leave from). Next door to the beach is Puerto Portals, where you can see many beautiful yachts anchored. Most of the restaurants are a little expensive but you can get a great pizza at Diablito for a more reasonable price.

La Playa de l’Oratori (Portals Nous – Mallorca) o Cala Portals está a 11 kilómetros de Palma, situado entre la escollera oriental de Puerto Portals y Bendinat. Este arenal de medianas dimensiones se caracteriza por su grano fino y moreno. Desde su orilla, se divisa la preciosa y verde Illa d’en Salas. Se trata de una playa espectacular en la que está instaurada la práctica de deportes playeros tales como el voley playa o el futvoley playa. Acceso a la playa Si venimos desde Palma por la autopista que une Palma y Andratx, deberemos elegir la salida Costa d’en Blanes. Desde allí, nos dirigimos hacia Puerto Portals. Accederemos a la playa desde el final del puerto. También se puede optar por el transporte público. El autobús para junto a esta playa.
