Pen-y-pass carpark now needs to be booked! No parking on the road or you will get a fine! Often the reason for a visit to the area, to summit Snowdon itself! The train needs to be booked and research is advised for the best routes if walking/climbing, depending on capabilities. An early start is essential, especially considering parking limitations. It tends to be busy and at times, very! There are so many alternatives worth considering too. The Cafe at the top is crap!

Well worth a treck up to the peak in good weather. It's about 5mile round trip depending on which track you take. Be sure to check the weather forecast and use decent footwear. Can be busy during the Summer months at weekend!
