Carlos' place is fantastic. The patio is as pictured - relaxing, shaded and private, a great spot to unwind with a book. The location is the best of both worlds. The neighbourhood is one of the best in Athens, with lots of great restaurants and bars that benefit from being just outside the major tourist zone, meaning they are both authentic and affordable. At the same time, you're only a short walk or subway from the Acropolis or other major sites like Filopappou Hill. Carlos and co-hosts are also very friendly and responsive, can't wait to come back. An Athens Airbnb gem.

what can I say, this place is just amazing - you are in the middle of one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Athens, but the moment you close the door of the Appartment and sit on the terasse, you feel like in a silent oasis full of green and singing birds. 10 minutes to metro directly to the airport, and 29 minutes by feet to all the historical sites....I worked in the Appartment, and thanks to the airco, this was pleasant as well....thanks Maria, would love to come again.
