I'm an American whose adopted home is Toulouse, France. My favorite part of traveling is experiencing other cultures through food - which is good, because I give food tours and tasting workshops for a living. My friends and family tell me I give the best restaurant recommendations. You're more likely to find my husband and I at a wine tasting than partying in a bar. When we travel, we're happier wandering through neighborhoods and seeking out local gems than hitting the big "touristy" things…

We had a great time on our Toulouse wine bar tour. Our guide Julie was very knowledgeable and personable. She is a native of Toulouse and is very proud of her city and the French wine culture. Her English is excellent, if you did not know otherwise you would never know she was French. We could not give the tour and Julie a higher recommendation. Merci beaucoup Julie.
