Jim and Karen were amazing, communicated clearly, and responded quickly. Their home was an oasis of calm, close to the Trail of 100 Giants, and a wonderful spot in the middle of the woods. If you're looking for a retreat surrounded by nature, this is it!

This cabin and overall experience was great. The place was super comfortable and met all our expectations. Jim and Karen were proactive and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Upon arriving at the home after 2.5 hours of travel, which was difficult to find, there was an active leak in the kitchen ceiling and the ceiling had collapsed onto the kitchen floor narrowly missing my golden retriever. The ceiling that fell to the floor was over a foot wide. We immediately contacted the owner and he asked us to turn off the water. My son did with the neighbors help. We obviously cannot stay in a dilapidated leaking home with the ceiling actively collapsing, we informed the owner we were leaving and would like a full refund. (The owners usually require a two night minimum, but was nice enough to let us stay one night, however they charged an extra $100. ) The owners instead of giving us a full refund wanted us to stay in one of their other cabins, we declined. Owners are trying to keep our money even though we were only there 20 minutes, only because we were helping locate and turn the water off. Unprofessional owners, working with card company to get a refund. BEWARE
