Julia’s workshop was truly magical. I discovered a more intuitive and creative way of approaching photography, deeply personal and introspective. Beyond the workshop itself, the walk through Paris was a beautiful bonus, adding to the sense of wonder. Julia is incredibly attentive; she guides you with patience, explains with clarity, and creates an atmosphere where you feel inspired and illuminated by the end of the experience. We began on Île Saint-Louis with a picturesque view of the Seine, then wandered along lesser-known canals before ending at the lively Bastille market. This journey offered a refreshing, alternative perspective on Paris—far beyond the typical tourist trail.

Through the creative process of self-portraiture, I gained unexpected confidence in front of the camera. More than that, I felt connected to the city in a way that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Julia gave me space to explore my own creativity, while her thoughtful prompts and reflections sparked genuine curiosity.

What an amazing experience! I was a bit nervous going into it but Julia was incredibly warm, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome right away. I feel like I got to see parts of Paris I’d never have found on my own, and hearing all the little stories and details Julia had to offer made it all the more worth it. I also really appreciated was the chance to sit down with the group afterward, look at our shots, and talk through what worked and what didn’t over coffee. It was like the perfect treat to finish off the experience. Would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants something more real and thoughtful than the usual tourist stuff!
