This experience was incredible, my friends and I absolutely loved it! The host Gary is very knowledgeable and a great teacher while also managing to make it extremely fun. He went above and beyond and even prepared three extra dishes, what a treat!

Gary was a fantastic host who not only taught us about Dongbei cuisine but also about cooking tips/tricks. In many Chinese restaurants in America, the menus are a 100+ item lists and hodge podges of different regional dishes which makes it difficult for customers (like me) to navigate. Gary shares a lot of insight into what makes Dongbei cuisine unique, and I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone who wants a fun very delicious dining experience.

If you happen to stumble across this listing book it immediately!!! It is not one that Gary hosts often.

Gary is an extremely knowledgeable chef that expertly guided us through the cooking process, and was able to answer every question we had not only about the origins of his thoughtfully curated menu, but also about cooking itself. His preparation and professionalism as a host are also second to none. The whole experience went without so much as a hiccup, and we were impressed, nay, blown away by the end product. It would not be an exaggeration to say I had the best home style Chinese food of my life that night.

Man cooks with love and passion, warming our hearts with his DELIGHTFUL sense of humor. He did not make money off our meal and enjoyed cooking and talking to our friends.
