We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the farm. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The thoughtful surprises waiting for us in the kitchen made us feel instantly at home, and every interaction with Manuela and José was a true pleasure — even with the language barrier, their kindness and generosity shone through.

They gave our toddler daughter such special attention that at times it felt as though she’d found Portuguese grandparents — patient, playful, and full of affection. Watching her light up around them was one of the highlights of our stay.

The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, yet peaceful enough to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning someday.

Great place to get away from it all. Amazing scenery and the animals were a delight!

We had a great time at the farm and used it as a basis for visiting Obidos and Nazare. We also visited the nearby sand dune at Praia de Salir do Porto and highly recommend checking it out! We visited Obidos for dinner after all the tourist buses were long gone and it was absolutely magical! Upon arrival Ricardo’s dad was at the gate to welcome us and show us around and Ricardo checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The fresh bread and cheese was very much appreciated! Our girls had fun visiting the goats and the chickens and especially loved hanging out with the dogs! The AC kept everyone comfortable. Keep in mind it is a farm and comes along with all the farm smells and lots of flies that go along with it!
