My group loved this experience! What a unique, fun and educational way to spend a morning. Good vibes and so much beauty.

We had a great time with Jason and Nicki, learning about their property, the work they’ve put into developing it and the various fruit producing plants they use to live sustainably off the grid. If you are looking for a non-commercialized look at island life, this experience is worth the time and money. We enjoyed our conversation and tour, and are happy to support people who take care of the planet, as they do.

Nous avons passé une matinée unique en compagnie de Nicki et Jason ! Ils nous ont plongé au cœur de leur quotidien au milieu de la jungle tropicale hawaïenne, dont ils ont appris à connaître et utiliser toutes les plantes et ressources au fil des années. Pendant le tour, ils nous transmettent un peu de leur savoir, tout en nous faisant découvrir leur passion pour l'art et leur mode de vie en connexion totale avec la nature. C'était une visite très inspirante ! Nicki et Jason sont des personnes extrêmement sympathiques, à la joie communicative, avec qui nous avons passé un très bon moment dont nous nous rappellerons.

Jason and Nicki have a great story to tell, hard work fuelled, outstanding farming achievements and great, creative art to express and highlight the challenges of starting a new life and living off the land on Hawaii’s Big Island growing bananas! They are welcoming and fun hosts who will make this experience worth it to everyone interested in great human stories of courage and resilience. The banana leaf tea was excellent and made even better by the quality conversations with the hosts!
