Our captain was very knowledgeable of the land and all its hidden treasures. He was very accommodating and thoughtful. With this tour you will explore the natural life of locals living in the mountains off the grid. If you are driving yourself the place can be a bit tricky to find you will have to gps the cultural treat to meet up with your captain.

Fiyah led a great tour. Loved hearing about the local trees, plants and herbs and lunch was delicious. They view from the top of the hike is gorgeous. The last half of the hike is steep and after a rain a bit slippery but worth the climb. Considering staying at Zimbali if I come back to Jamaica. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

This retreat was the best part of our trip… Though slightly intense, the hike was enjoyable, Fiyah showed us different vegetables and while growing fruits as we walked along. He also collected ingredients for the delicious meal that he prepared for us. You really enjoy watching fire. Prepare the meal from scratch for us over wood fire. There was an adorable kitten and his mom who live in Rose camp. Climbing up into fires house and overlooking the vast forest was exhilarating. I would definitely do this hike again even on my next vacation. I recommend it.
