I have had a hard time finding perfumes that work for me. Hours in department stores. Several failed purchases. She took the time to interview me. I gave her lots of adjectives of how I wanted my daily perfume to smell - fresh, Lightly floral, woodsy, calming. She tested my fragrance preferences (loved that she did not share anything of “what” I was smelling. Because I always thought I hated rose. Turns out I don’t. White florals sandalwood mosses - all were positives for me. Then we went to local perfumeries and I found two that I loved and bought and also got 6 samples (perfect for purses) and from another place I bought a sample. Her knowledge of the shops and the perfumes made this easy and not overwhelming. She charted everything she sprayed on me and allowed time for the fragrance to really settle. I felt no pressure to buy. This is a must do tour for anyone who wants quality perfume but gets stuck with choices. She was kind, personable and a deep listener. Just WOW.

Madeline is very knowledgeable about perfumes and understanding what might appeal to you. We met in a cafe and she asked some key questions to establish my preferences, made some notes, and then we were underway! The perfume houses we visited were located in Le Marais, and are unique. She was able to recommend what might appeal, which made things move along more quickly than if I was bumbling along on my own, and it offered an opportunity to learn more about that particular perfumery. I bought fragrances for myself and my partner - taking home some very special mementos of Paris. Highly recommend Madeline and this opportunity!
