We could not take the tour and all regretted for not being able to do so. However, our guide kept the communication on and showed full flexibility and willingness to show us the city of Fes on our schedule if entirely possible. That was a great gesture. I could also see the same pride, goodness, beauty and honesty in our guides intentions that you see everywhere on the street on Fes. Thanks and may be next time, we will take the tour with a proper plan.

Yahya gave us an unforgettable experience in Fez. From the start, it was clear he knew the medina inside and out—not just the landmarks, but the hidden workshops, quiet corners, and real local spots that you’d never find without someone like him.

What really stood out to me was how easygoing and generous he was with his time. We ended up walking around for way longer than expected, and not once did he seem rushed. He gave us space when we wanted to browse or take photos but was always ready to jump in with interesting info or context when we had questions.

I also appreciated that he didn’t just take us to touristy places—everything felt authentic and personal. The lunch stop was a highlight: delicious, totally local, and he walked us through every dish like a pro.

If you’re looking for a genuine, unhurried, and insightful tour of Fez, Yahya is the guy.

This was such a wonderful experience! Yahya was kind, knowledgeable, and so gracious with us as we went from souk to souk and saw the beautiful architecture and spirit of Fez.

He’s a certified guide who goes far beyond expectations and takes you to the most authentic places of the medina so that you see the sources of the artisanal and intellectual culture of this vibrant city. We had so much fun! Then there was his generosity— he let us meander and take our time enjoying the shops with no rush whatsoever. We ended up going four hours over the original three hour tour but he gave his time to us for no extra charge. We reflected our love in our tip and a midday lunch at a locals’ haven where we tried tasty and unique Moroccan food that he even explained ingredient by ingredient!

It was truly the most wonderful glimpse into this gorgeous city. We are beaming after our day. Don’t hesitate to sign up for his tour! The best value you could ask for and the most sweet down-to-earth guide.
