Our host was very friendly and happy to help. He provided a great work environment and we got to take a couple home which was amazing. 10/10 would recommend

Never done pottery before but was excited to try and Alan was brilliant to teach you in 90 minutes! The session was a bit of everything, learning how to do the basic steps, seeing the results, getting to know the equipment and tools amd Alan was on had to help with any questions. Found it very therapeutic having wet hands on a ball of clay. So easy to work with and yet difficult to control! So is indeed a challenge. But most of all it was just really fun and something different. Getting to keep one of the pots you made and learn how to work on it at home to improve it, was really great. Would definitely recommend as the stuido itself if easy to find, nice and bright and clean and comfortable. Just over the road from a tavern too, which is ideal. Great experience.

The studio itself is beautiful, calm, and relaxing – the perfect setting to get creative.

We had so much fun learning the techniques and making our own pots and bowls on the potter’s wheel.

Alan was welcoming, friendly, and clearly so skilled at his craft, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We’d highly recommend his studio to anyone visiting the area – a wonderful way to spend time in the Cotswolds!
