The host Christopher was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, fun and kind. I was able to ask him all the questions I wanted and really feel like I know the island of Aruba more intimately than I did before this tour. He taught me the formation, history, and development of Aruba. His knowledge shared was extremely enlightening and inspiring. I love that I was able to see goats, lizards, prickly pears, taste the fruit of a plant, and touch walls built over a century ago. Stepping into Arikok National Park was a beautiful oasis filled with wonder and excitement for the nature all around. I’m so grateful for this experience and the self-care offered to my body through this gentle hike. The snacks provided were authentic, delicious, and nourishing. I told Christopher on vacation I turn into a morning person, cause I’m not usually one. I’m so grateful that I gave myself the gift of waking up early in the morning to watch the sunrise in such a paradise.

This was my very first hike ever and honestly, it was the best experience! Christopher was incredibly knowledgeable about Aruba’s history and answered all of our questions, even the silly ones I threw in.

Since it was my first time hiking, I opted for a private hike because I was nervous I’d slow down a group. But honestly, I think I would’ve done just fine in a group setting too. The hike wasn’t too extreme, and the scenery was beautiful. We caught an amazing sunrise and even saw a few goats along the way.

Christopher also treated us to a traditional Aruban refreshment that reminded me of pastelillos, but sweeter. And as a very picky eater, I was surprised by how much I liked it!

Overall, it was a fantastic hike. If you’re ever in Aruba, I highly recommend doing this. Thank you again, Christopher!

Chris is extremely knowledgeable and respectful my partner and I learn a lot from him, we loved the hike, bites and views were beautiful. We will definitely repeat
