To start, the host has changed the date from the 16th to the 18th. We have accepted the changes and had to move our other plans. We kindly ask to change the date from Airbnb to reflect the 18th, which Khadija shared wasn’t possible and say via Whatsaap that it was still find.

On the date, we had difficulty finding the place, we texted the host via WA, Airbnb and by normal phone called and we had no replies. As it was hard to find the location, and the local did not know, we had to do all the street and followed the door’s number to get to the riad.

On arrival, we weren’t seated as all the table were booked/ already reserved. The guys on site did not know about our reservation. We had to stay on the “lounge” for quite a while…

Only positive things:

The waiter (Mohamed) was nice and asked us if wanted some drinks. We loved the shows. The music was good, the musicians were talented, we got to participated. The drinks were offered as we got our meals late.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Communication was quite poor; after several unsuccessful attempts to reach the host for directions, we spent 30 minutes searching before finally locating the riad. Upon our arrival, we found that a table had not been prepared for us. It seemed the staff had not been informed by the host that she had rescheduled our activity. Consequently, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in a lounge area until they figured out where to place us. When it was time for the meal, we were the last to be served. While other guests were already enjoying their main courses, we received starters. The other guests were individuals already staying at the riad; therefore, keep in mind that you will receive excellent treatment if you are a guest at the riad. The only positive aspects of the experience were the music, the good service provided by Mohamed, and the manager who waived the charges for our drinks because she recognized how poorly we had been treated.

This was a fabulous evening. Good communication from the host . They met us at an easy-to-find point with a signboard and walked us to the venue. The musicians were lively and very interactive. Mocktails to start were included in the cost. 4-course meal was delicious. Venue was beautiful and authentic. Small details like rose petals and candles on the table added to the ambience. A memorable evening.

We had the most amazing time at Riad with the cooking class! My boyfriend and I were looking for a fun and unique couple's activity during our trip to Morocco, and this experience exceeded all our expectations.
Once we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the Riad – the atmosphere was so relaxing and thoughtfully designed, we immediately felt at home.

The cooking class itself was fantastic. We started by going to the souk to shop for fresh ingredients, which was a fun and immersive experience. It was also great to learn a few words in Arabic from our lovely host. The class was set up in the Riad’s inner courtyard, which made the whole experience feel even more special and picturesque.
We learned to prepare a variety of Moroccan dishes, and everything we made was delicious. The entire experience was incredibly well-organized, and the staff were just amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better way to connect with Moroccan culture and cuisine. Highly recommended!
