An Amazing Day in Akihabara with Nao!
Thank you so much, Nao, for an absolutely wonderful tour of Akihabara! My son and I had such an incredible time exploring Tokyo with you as our guide.
What made this experience truly special was how you went beyond just showing us the anime and gaming shops. The visit to the shrine was unexpectedly meaningful, and we loved learning about the rich history of Japan and Tokyo through your knowledgeable storytelling. Your deep understanding of both the modern culture and traditional roots of the area really enriched our experience.
Nao was fantastic at helping us navigate the arcades and shopping scene in Akihabara - he knew exactly where to find the best deals and guided us to shops we never would have discovered on our own.
Beyond the tour itself, Nao provided invaluable advice for the rest of our travels in Japan, sharing local, and gave us treasured souvenirs from his personal collection. Arigatou gozaimasu, Nao!

We reserved a private tour, a group of 6 (grandparents included), so my 11-year-old son could experience the Akihabara and see his favorite anime characters there. Nao was fantastic! He was a very kind and respectful guide who worked with my son and customized the experience through an initial list of anime characters that we sent ahead of the tour, and then when we met him, he presented shopping and gaming options for my son to pick from.

He guided us to exactly what my son wanted to see, experience, and purchase, and he even gave him a few gifts from his collection. He also made sure we went into buildings with air conditioning, so we can get relief from the summer heat and humidity. We all had a blast, and we give him our highest recommendation to anyone that wants to experience the Akihabara as a family.

With only half a day before my flight, I would have been overwhelmed trying to navigate the Akihabara area on my own, but Nao made everything seamless and enjoyable. He was incredibly generous with his time and flexible with the agenda, ensuring I got the most out of my visit. His knowledge of the area—from the history of Akihabara as an electronics hub to Japanese folklore to anime - made the experience more enriching.
He also helped me find a great vegan spot for lunch, patiently searched for capsule toys with me, and even impressed me with his claw machine skills.

Nao gave the best tour ever. He took us stores specifically based on our interests. Because he speaks and reads Japanese, he was able to find things on the shelves that i never would have noticed. Phenomenal time.
