A quiet place to stay near the ocean. The guest bed downstairs is very uncomfortable and needs replacing. The heat lamp/fan in the master bathroom was also non functional so the only fan we had was the small toilet room fan. The house is very clean. The owners are concerned about guests breaking things but don’t seem to fix or replace items themselves.

My husband and I came to Oregon for our honeymoon and let me tell you this house is PREFECT. It was so quiet and peaceful we walked in the river, sat by the fire and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. If you are looking for some R&R this house is it!! We will definitely come back.

The rental was pretty much as pictured. The two issues that we had were the two special amenities. The hot tub. And the massage chair. Those very amenities are why we chose this specific location.

You can tell by the photos it’s an older home, but it’s nicely appointed. However, the hot tub has very little privacy. It appeared to have privacy, because of the fences and such. However, when we went to check out the hot tub, there was The tenant actually looking out the window watching. So it definitely gave the impression that it’s not a comfortable place to sit in the hot tub. It wasn’t creepy or anything, it was just not what we were expecting. Not private.

And as for the massage chair, it was pretty nice, worn down, which one might expect being in that setting. The pillow/head rest had peeling materials. They got on your hair and your clothes. Also, the roller once it got to your low back would just slip, and it was extremely loud. And it would sit there thunking until it went up.
